The Promise

Six months ago I bought a compact camera and made a promise!
The promise was, "To enjoy photography as a hobby, and NOT to buy another camera till a year had gone by".

Armed with my Sony Cyber shot, Iv`e been reconnecting with things, not just photography.
It`s been many years since I have visited the places I have visited recently, camera in hand. Thats the thing with photography, you have to get out and about.

Have my pictures improved over the last few months? I think they have, which has to be the main point of the hobby.
Have I learnt things over the last few months? Yes.. lots of little tricks, lots of facts and remembered things that I had forgotten.

I decided to blog about the things I am learning as I go along. I also hope that other photographers might pop in and give friendly advice in passing.
