The Print

Today I received a present, a print of one of my pictures from Amanda. This is the first time Iv`e seen one blown up and printed out.

I have learnt that I should save the final picture as a tiff file and not a jpeg. Tiff gives a higher quality picture as a jpeg file reduces the file size ready for web use, but tends to loose detail.
I have also learnt that one should always file pictures correctly, saving hours of hunting down files.

I know this seems basic to many readers, but welcome to the world of the novice.

Most of you will spot the horizon fault, which has driven me mad trying to fix by cloning. I do like the printed version, faults and all.
The last point on the learning curve, print your pictures.. it`s why we take them.

Take the Picture.
